From JWCC's establishment in 1974, when many believed no
need existed for a community college, Jim Rapp saw a path to a brighter future for individuals in our community.
After 50 years of service as JWCC’s legal counsel, he continues to
advocate for those in our region who lack the resources or confidence to pursue education or career changes.
Join us to celebrate Jim’s extraordinary career as he receives the
JWCC Foundation’s Inaugural Pathfinder Award.
It is Jim’s wish that all invited consider a meaningful gift to the Pathways to Promise Scholarship fund in lieu of an event ticket.
The goal of the Pathways to Promise Scholarship is to help students overcome unmet financial needs and increase access to college and career training. Although JWCC offers the most affordable tuition in the region, many students still face financial challenges, often juggling jobs or family responsibilities.
JWCC is working with local donors to bridge these gaps by county, high school, and career pathway. Jim Rapp invites you to contribute or pledge to support this initiative, empowering students to complete their education, improve their earning potential, and strengthen our local economy.
