JWCC Foundation Scholarship Options

  • Named Endowed Scholarship – A permanent and perpetual fund, this form of scholarship can be created with a gift or gifts totaling at least $10,000. The principal of the fund is invested to produce income and an annual award is made from the interest. Creating a named endowed scholarship can be a very meaningful way to honor family and friends.
  • Emerging Endowed Scholarship – An emerging endowed scholarship can be established with a minimum contribution of $1,000 and a commitment to some financial contribution at least every two years. The fund must reach $10,000 within ten years.
  • Named Annual Scholarship – This form of scholarship is awarded, as funds are available.  Unlike an endowed scholarship, this is not a permanent fund.
