Diane Ary
Diane Ary is Senior IT Manager for ADM Alliance Nutrition in Quincy. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Quincy University. She and her husband, Joe, have three children; two are JWCC graduates.
She currently serves as vice president / secretary of the JWCC Foundation.
Carol Brockmiller
Carol Brockmiller is the chief executive officer for Quincy Medical Group. A JWCC alumna, she holds a bachelor's degree from Quincy University. She is a Certified Medical Practice Executive with the American College of Medical Practice Executives and serves on the American Medical Group Association Board of Directors.
Linda Coleberd
Linda Coleberd is the former owner/operator of the Mark Twain Cave in Hannibal, Mo. A native of St. Joseph, Mo., she holds a dual bachelor's degree in special education/elementary education and a master's degree in educational psychology from the University of Wyoming.
Joe Dierker
Joe Dierker is the principal farm manager with First Harvest Farm Management in Pittsfield. He is an Accredited Farm Manager, a Certified Crop Advisor and a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor.
Janell Farmer
Janell Farmer is from Fowler, is a retired Mass Mutual agent. She is a past president of the JWCC Board of Trustees. She and her husband, Jim, have a son, Grant.
Robert "Bob" Gray
Bob Gray is a partner with Arnold, Behrens, Nesbit, and Gray, P.C. He resides in Hull.
He currently serves as treasurer of the JWCC Foundation.
Jerry Hagmeier
Jerry is a past president of the JWCC Board of Trustees. He is a retired professor from JWCC.
Donna Jansen
Donna Jansen is a senior sales representative with Boehringer-Ingelheim Animal Heath. A graduate of Western Illinois University, she attended JWCC from 1985 to 1987. She is a past president of the JWCC Ag Alumni Board. She and her husband, Mike, have three sons.
She currently serves as president of the JWCC Foundation.
Holly Jones
Holly Jones is vice president/administrator of Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing administration from Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences, and she earned an associate’s degree in nursing from JWCC. She is certified as a nurse executive through the American Nurse Credentialing Center.
She and her husband Bobby live in Pleasant Hill with their two sons.
Dave Rakers
Dave Rakers is a graduate of John Wood Community College and Truman State University. He is executive vice president of First Bankers Trust Company. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two sons.
He is the immediate past president of the JWCC Foundation Board.
Jim Rapp
Jim Rapp is a partner in the law firm Schmiedeskamp Robertson Neu & Mitchelll LLP. He has served as legal counsel for JWCC since shortly after it was established in 1974. Mr. Rapp is a graduate of Washington University School of Law and a member of the Bar of Illinois, Missouri, and the District of Columbia.
Dr. Bryan Renfro
Dr. Bryan Renfro became John Wood Community College’s seventh president in January of 2023. Prior to becoming president of the college, he was Vice President of Academic Instruction at Paris Junior College in Texas.
Gina Sheurman
Gina Sheurman is the HR & Compliance System Manager for Farmers State Bank, based out of Pittsfield, Ill. She is a Payson-Seymour High School graduate and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Quincy University. She is the past president of the JWCC Southeast Advisory Committee and the immediate past president of the JWCC Foundation. Gina and her husband Corey currently reside in rural Griggsville and have two children.
Eric Thomas
Eric Thomas is Digital Marketing Specialist at Electric Oak and former Digital Strategy Manager at Vervocity. At the age of 25, he started his own company, ETC Computer Solutions. He went on to acquire Computerland and merged it with his own business to form ETC Computerland. He attended classes at JWCC and holds a bachelor's degree from Quincy University and an MBA from Kennedy-Western University.
Jil Tracy
Senator Jil Tracy is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law. She was elected to represent the 47th District in the Illinois Senate in 2016. She previously served as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives from 2006 to 2014. She also served as Illinois Assistant Attorney General and Director of the West Central Office, Mount Sterling City Attorney, and had a private law practice.
Josh Welker
Josh Welker is the Dean of Business Services and Institutional Effectiveness at John Wood Community College. He hold a bachelor's degree from Missouri State University and a master's degree from the University of Missouri. He and his wife have three sons and reside in Canton, Mo.
Keyouna West
Keyouna West is a 2022 graduate of Palmyra, Mo., High School. A JWCC sophomore, she is studying education. Keyouna is serving as President of the JWCC Student Government Association for 2023-2024. She will serve as the Student Representative to the JWCC Foundation Board as an ex-officio member for one year.
